The CO 350 ﬁnal exam for Winter 2010 will be Tuesday April 13, 12:30
to 3:00 in the PAC.
It will cover all the material in the lectures, corresponding to the following
Course Notes sections: Chapters 1–11, with the exception of Sections 7.4, 8.3,
and 8.4. The material in weeks 6 through 11 of the course, corresponding to
what is covered in Assignments 5 to 9, will receive more emphasis than that
in the ﬁrst ﬁve weeks of the course.
You are responsible for all the deﬁnitions, theorem statements, proofs,
and computational techniques. You are unlikely to be asked to reproduce
long proofs of theorems in their entirety, but you should understand these
