A Microfinance MIS Mifos is an internet based management information system that is used for microfinance. It is a flexible and user friendly system that is used for the company’s client information. The Mifos system is unique and it provides tools which allow the user to research client’s information. The information that can be researched within the Mifos system are payments, client personal information for their accounts, reports and a whole lot more. The Mifos system allows users to navigate to different accounts and provides details of an individual client. Within the system there are several tabs and documents the user can navigate through. If the user wanted to search for a client’s information by their name or group that user would have to use the home tab which is the first tab. In that second tab the user can help clients with opening accounts, closing, and reviewing the client’s information for any questions that they may have. After the second tab there is the report tab; this tab is used to process operational and financial reports. The last tab is the administrative tab which is only used by a designated office administrator to create new system users and find office products. The tabs were put in place to make sure information can be accessed and the side tabs are available to help the user navigate through the system without any issues.
