Three Day Activity Analysis After performing the three day activity analysis there are a lot of changes I plan to make to increase the amount of energy expended in my day to day activities. I currently don’t have a daily routine that keeps me active, because I work full time and have two small children. I have learned from this analysis that every little bit counts so even if I take a 20 minute walk during my lunch break it could help increase my energy levels. According to the dietary guidelines for America, most adult Americans can obtain significant health benefits to reduces the risk of chronic diseases and improve their quality of life by including a moderate amount of physical activity at least 30 minutes a day most days of the week (Dietary Guidelines for Americans. 6 th edition, 2005). So what I plan to do to increase the amount of energy expended in my day to day activities is to add at least a 30 minute routine workout five days a week. The type of exercise that has worked for me in the past is walking/jogging on the
