Without these services some of our clients would never be able to walk, talk, sign, toilet themselves etc. these are all things our programs help them learn. One of the ways we can respond to this issue is to write letters to the state legislature letting them know how important these services are. The company I currently work for actually did this, and emailed letters to the state representative. Another thing we did was attend a rally with some of our clients to talk directly to the judge who will be ruling in this matter. It was amazing to see such a turn out and although it may not have helped it is important for our agencies to educate the community as to what we do....
