Garrett Johnson January 26, 2009 Listening behavior Me and the Talkative Girl In this observation that I did, I used this Girl named Crystal that was in my room last Thursday. The observation style that I used was the “yes” response strategy. I thought this type of strategy would fit best because she is the type of girl that likes listening to herself talk. She goes on and on and about anything whether you’re listening or not. So I thought to myself “this girl is best for this situation and I’m going to take advantage of her”! So I decided to do a test on whether or not she would notice me just giving positive nonverbal feedback first. Next, I wanted to test her on if she notices me not talking and just agreeing with everything that she was saying. Finally I wanted to know if she noticed me just giving her positive verbal feedback and not giving any feedback. I guess you can call this the non talking zone Test!
