Unformatted text preview: do things differently than from people in Brazil. I don’t want to put my hand out for a hand shake and they look at me funny! I know people in South America have conversations a lot closer to each other than people in North America. So, I don’t want to be the one that speaks from farther away. I would want to learn about other cultures so I can deal with culture shock. Learning about other cultures can help culture shock because you would know the cultural norms, rituals, and taboos. If I don’t know these certain things the people of the country I’m in would look at me stupid or give me a hard time. I would want to be ready for anything the country throws at me. So my Goal is to learn as much as possible about the country I’m about to visit....
