Unformatted text preview: R E F LECT IO N PAPER Two pages- double spaced -12 point Times New Roman Font Identify Date/Class of focus of your reflection Frame your reflection on a specific quote/ concept State what you perceive is the issue- i.e. make your claim Be clear on your position – you can’t be wrong here Develop your own line of reasoning utilizing the language of the text/ course Come to a conclusion REM INDER: two page papers challenge us to be precise and coherent No need for extended research or long quotes Proof your work and/or secure outside support C ASE STUDY Choose one of the case study topic that interests you Take from the data/ narrative and identify the key ethical issues Avoid “reading into” the case information that is not present Secure clarity on the core issue and how i t impacts ethical decision making Make a claim on where you stand on this issue and what ethical arguments can be m ade in favor or your stance Acknowledge there exists opposing views and how your response addresses such perspectives Use the language of the course and text in identifying and addressing the issues Summarize your conclusions I N T EGRAT I V E ESSAY The key to success on this project is p reparation Choose a topic of your own interest and a person for the interview you will be able to meet with in a t imely manner Develop your interview questions and have them reviewed During the interview you must actively listen and adjust questions Be sure you stay on topic so that when you leave the interview key questions are addressed Take comprehensive notes and review Summarize key learning points from the interview Work in your analysis of issues addressed- utilizing key language and theory of the course Work on the summary part of this paper to assure logical conclusion ...
