Lesson 3 Post: Sick Children Being an administrator carrying out this legislation presented by this law, I would remain in the guidelines of the written procedures. If higher income families qualify for this specific medical assistance program, then I would definitely help them apply and receive funding for their medically dependent child. However, I would not go out of my way to find loopholes in order for a higher-class family to qualify. If I put myself in a taxpayer role, I would be ethically balanced with my above belief in the rules of this public policy; I believe I would be taking into thought the money that citizens are paying in to help “in need” families with their children’s high medical bills. As a nonparticipating citizen of this policy, I would honestly not even know I was paying in part of my taxes for this said program. Currently in the real world, I am paying in for Medicare benefits for my elders in society; however, once I become an age to receive the same benefits, this program will most likely have been terminated.
