RCC 200 ROLLINS TRANSITION SEMINAR Fall 2009 COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Rollins Transition Seminar is a course designed to assist new transfer students with their adjustment to the College. The seminar will provide an introduction to campus support services and an overview of general policies and procedures. Students will receive information about curricular requirements for graduation and academic programs of study. A variety of topics offered in this course will facilitate students’ adjustment to the College and with making a connection to the institution both academically and socially. The Seminar is a 1-semester hour credit course that is graded. It is a required course for all new transfer students. COURSE REQUIREMENTS: Students are expected to attend all scheduled class sessions, extra-curricular events with their peer mentors, and other activities outside normal class time to facilitate their adjustment to Rollins.
