Goal : To improve the healthcare of citizens in rural and northern regions of Canada. Intervention : To provide health professionals who work or who intend to work in some rural and northern regions of Canada with a better salary. Analysis : This gov’t intervention is indirect because there were many cause and effect relationships before a change could be affected. At A there is the gov’t intervention to provide health professionals who work or who intend to work in some rural regions of Canada, at B health professional must agree to work in some rural regions, at C they must stay and work there for a long period of time, at D some professionals may not be satisfied with their salaries as well as working and living conditions, and as a result they may come back to work in southern regions of Canada. 1.
