Hilliard 258-10-0169 July 5, 2010-October 22, 2010 MG 665 Lesson#10, Assignment 4 Study the case, "Hal of Erhardt & Company: One Audit Senior’s Dilemma" on pages 206- 209 of the text Management Communication: Principles and Practice (3 rd Edition). 1.What should Hal say to Frank (and to others at the office)? Hal should tell Frank that he did a thorough investigation and found the results to be inclusive due to unethical business practices. 2. What are the reasons for saying it? How should he say it? While doing the audits checks would magically appear and disappear. Also the Frank seems to act as if FBA has him in their pocket, also other crucial documents were not found to be in order. 3. Does Hal have any reason to distrust Frank, the partner-in-charge? Yes, Hal does have reasons to distrust Frank. When Hal gave Frank his report and expected changes which should have been make Frank did not suggest any changes to made to the report. 4.
