80. (a) Comparing with Eq. 15-3, we see ω = 10 rad/s in this problem. Thus, f = /2 π = 1.6 Hz. (b) Since v m = x m and x m = 10 cm (see Eq. 15-3), then v m = (10 rad/s)(10 cm) = 100 cm/s or 1.0 m/s. (c) The maximum occurs at t = 0. (d) Since a m = 2 x m then v m = (10 rad/s) 2 (10 cm) = 1000 cm/s 2 or 10 m/s
