Rachel Riddle PHY 101 Lab #9 Procedure 1: Magnetic Fields o Equipment Magnets Iron files Pencil o See Data on Paper (sorry pictures are bad)   o  The results of this experiment were  Procedure 2: Electricity and Magnetism  o Equipment Light Bulb Power Supply Wires o The data can be found on the back of the lab sheet as well as the notebook paper.   o The total voltage for procedure 2A is larger than the single bulbs because the bulbs are  sharing the power supply.   o The results of the experiment were that well, the drums made very cool vibrations and  patterns with the machines that we used. Procedure 3: Plates o Equipment Sand Pencil Plates o See sheet for data and drawings (sorry they’re not great) for procedure 3A and 3B.

Summary of Results o For procedure 1 the experiment tested the accuracy of the method we used and it showed that the method was prone to error. However it was also very loud in the room and that could have something to do with it. Procedure 2 really didnt have a result because there wasnt much to conclude, except maybe that the drums look pretty cool when theyre vibrating. The conclusions for procedure 3 were that different frequencies make different cool patterns....
