ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE 2AbstractThis paper examines Alzheimer's medical condition, which is among the many types of dementia anddegenerative brain disease. The condition is more common at old age and currently has no cure. This paper willclosely examine interventions that can help Alzheimer's patients ease or reduce the stage of Alzheimer's disease.The first intervention discussed in the article is music therapy. Here the paper outlines the power of music toinfluence several brain regions, which arouses emotions as well as memories from deep in the past. Besides,music can relieve anxiety, reduce stress, and depression. The second intervention discussed in the paper is braingames such as sudoku and cross puzzles, among others, which are known to improve cognitive ability, therebyhelping the patient recall some memories. Lastly, the paper discusses social peer to peer intervention, whichinvolves social support such as network support, esteem support, and emotional support, among others.
