Method Participants There were 149 college students attending Kennesaw State University participated in the survey. Ages ranged from 18 to 47 (M = 21.43; SD = 5.45). Majority were females (78.5% to males 21.5%). Those participating were in committed relationships 46.3% or single 36.2%. Materials The survey (see Appendix) consisted of 5 demographic items, fourteen questions, and twenty items. On a Likert Scale which ranged from 1 ( strongly disagree ) to 5 ( strongly agree ) regarding beliefs concerning their experiences in romantic relationships. Procedure College students were recruited for the online survey from an introduction psychology classes at Kennesaw State University. Participants were given class credit for taking the survey.
