Loading the Solver Addin
Before you can use the Solver, you must first load the Solver addin into memory. When you
installed Excel, you were given the option of installing the addins that ship with Excel. If you
chose to install the addins, you can use the Tools Addin command to load Solver into memory. If
you did not install the addins, you must do so before using Solver.
To load Solver into memory, follow these steps:
1. Select the
Tools
on the main menu.
Figure 2 shows the submenu of
Tools
2. If you find
Solver
on submenu of
Tools
, then
Solver
is already loaded into memory. Skip next
