For more information of what should be included in the notebook, go to WebCT Lab Manual Laboratory Notebook Guidelines. 15. Absences : Lab attendance is mandatory. Absences will be excused only if a valid written explanation is given to your TA or instructor. If possible, you must obtain your TA’s or instructor’s approval before hand. There will be NO make-up labs! The material you miss will still be on the exams; you will still be expected to know the concepts and be able to do the problems. Missing a second lab will require you to drop the course except under EXTREME circumstances (see your instructor, not your TA). Absence without an excuse will result in a zero for the report even though the experiment is done with a partner. 16. Outside Lab Time
