Our Military’s presence in Korea is keeping the North “meaner” than they would be if we were not there. 8 Identify the premises and conclusion of the argument. We need to leave so that we can be free to defend the South should the need arise. Conclusion is, we are not a deterrent any longer so why are we still there? 9 Is the author’s argument valid or invalid, sound or unsound, strong or weak? Explain how you determined this. The argument is weak, and not very sound. He focuses more on the general population numbers than on the actual military population numbers. CRT 205
