HRC210 The Patient self determination act has had to provide each person whose care under medical care with the information that the medical facility was going to provide for them. The information required them to go through each step that they would be prescribing, performing and recommending for each patient. This gave the patient advance notice of just what was going to happen to them how long it would take and who would perform the procedures. In this event any outpatient treatment and medicines were discussed signed on and completed. Any rights that any patients would have or had been informed to the patient before any procedures were done. In the event that the patient couldn’t speak for themselves the next of kin or emergency contact was allowed to respond on the patients behalf. Information that the state provided the medical provider to follow is also discussed and made aware tot the patient as well as the patient’s family.
