CRT100 2 You are My Sunshine If someone starts to sing the first line of the song “You Are My Sunshine”. Just about everyone would be able to finish the first and second verse. However, when listening to the song sung by many singers the meaning seems to change a bit. I believe the literal metaphors for the song comes from a man in love with what he believes is his one true love. The first line of the song “You are My Sunshine,” to me means that this lady was so radiant, like the sun’s rays on a beautiful day. Skip a couple of lines and you come to “You make me happy when sky’s are gray”. Gray sky’s normally mean rain, or cold, which is very depressing to some people. But somehow this wonderful lady is that bit of light shining through the clouds onto his face that makes him smile. Going further into this song’s lyric makes me think of something different then most.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
