ENG100 2 After leaving school when I was sixteen, I wanted to accomplish something for myself. So I moved around, I got married and bought a house, but I still felt as if something were missing from my life. At the end of last year, I was laid off from a decent job that I worked hard at to become a supervisor. At that point, I knew what was missing. I did not have a degree.

Unformatted text preview: Soon after, I started looking for a job and realized that every company or position I wanted or thought I was qualified for needed me to have an associates or bachelors degree. I believe that with my degree, and even as an undergrad Ill be able to get my foot in the door with a company in the area. I believe at that point Ill get a chance to work and really learn my chosen profession and work my way up the corporate ladder to become someone of importance. This, in turn, will allow me to make the money I want, and get respect in my field and finally work for a company that I respect....
