Nigeria and United States of American is two different countries in some ways. Nigeria is one of the third world countries, due to the way the country is being handled by the government. United Sates is otherwise known as the first world countries, known as a land of opportunity, where all people from different countries came looking for the greener pastures. The people of the United State are citizen of the United States, and United States is a multi-ethnic nation, home to people of different ethnic and national backgrounds. As a result, some Americans don’t like their nationality as an ethnicity, but identify themselves with both their nationality and their ancestral origins. Aside from the indigenous Native American, nearly all Americans or their ancestors immigrated within the past five centuries. Due to the multiethnic composition, the United States is a multicultural nation, home to a wide variety of traditions and values. In addition to the United States, Americans and people of American descent can be found internationally such as Mexico, Canada, Australia, Brazil and throughout Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. Nigeria happens to be the most populous country of Africa, the people of Nigeria are known to multiethnic nation. As a matter of fact the Nigeria people comprise a population with highest density in the whole world. The people in Nigeria give great importance to religion. 45% of the population is Christian, 45% Muslim and the rest 10% is a mix of quite a few indigenous religions. However as Nigeria, there used to exist quite a few religion and deities. People of Nigeria traditionally used to worship many inanimate objects. Ancestor worship was also largely practiced by many tribal group of Nigeria. The most popular among the innumerable ethnic groups in Nigeria are Igbo or Ibo, Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani. However the unity among the Nigeria people, inspire of being ethnically diverse, is definitely something unique.
