Span 209 Las presentaciones Overview of the task: Everyone will make a short, oral presentation to the class. Presentation topics are based upon cultural themes in selected exercises of the “ A explorar section of your textbook. The syllabus lists these exercises; generally you will have a choice of topics. Your professor may provide a list of additional topics. For many topics, the textbook’s companion website will provide you with links to begin your research of the topic. One week before your presentation, you will need to turn in an outline of your talk. The presentation will be in Spanish and last about 3 to 4 minutes. Given the brevity of the presentation, you should focus on speaking in a clear, organized way with precise information. Please do NOT use PowerPoint. You may, however, provide one or two visual aids, such as a poster or photographs. You may use up to 3 note cards to help you remember you talk. Please do NOT read your presentation to the class. Your presentation will be graded according to the rubric posted on the Blackboard site for
