TAO GUO Tricia Flores Isabel Uribe MHR 318 6-7:50Pm(MW) Elevator Ride Report We did our research for this project in the library’s elevators. We all felt so uncomfortable when we each stood in front of the elevator door and faced towards the people. During the time, most of the people just smiled at us and others just glanced at us real quick and looked off at other places in the elevators. The people in the elevator usually just calmly waited until they reached the floor they were going to. Sometimes they talked with the people that they were with but only in a couple cases. We quickly talked to the people who were the most bothered or the least bothered. The most bothered people tended to think that we broke the norm and that our behavior was not respectful because we were looking towards them. Many stated that they didn’t say anything to us because they were getting off of the elevator in a couple seconds so what was the point. The least bothered people tended to smile and glance
