This article summarizes, in detail, the indictment of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev for his
role in the Boston Marathon Bombing and the events that took place after that. The article
supplies great information on the various weapons Dzhokhar and his brother had during
the bombing, which they conspired during or before February 2013, and their attempt to
avoid law enforcement afterwards. The brothers had a total of four bombs, all made using
pressure cookers and were made “to shred skin, shatter bone and cause extreme pain”
(para. 3). The article states that seventeen of the thirty charges have a maximum sentence
of death, and names the various departments involved in the investigation and the
personnel that will assist in the prosecution of Dzhokhar.
