The Guide to Economic Reasoning Summary (6 Principles) As a student, I try to see how all things relate to my life and the lives of people around me. I believe that these six principles can be related to the life of a student in all facets or to anybody’s life for that matter. The first rule was that people choose. I do believe that as a student, the options had to be weighed out in order to make the right decisions. I know that for some of my out of state peers, they had to weigh out the pros and cons of coming to FAMU. Of course, one of the biggest reasons to deter them from coming here would have been the cost but to them, they believed that the benefits of coming to FAMU outweighed the monetary costs. For my case, the only choice that I had to make was whether to start off at a community college or a four-year institution but as you can see, I chose the latter because of the greater benefits.
