GEB 3912 MW 1230-120 Self-Insight The purpose of this paper is to analyze my different weaknesses and shortcomings about myself and explain what I am going to do to change my weaknesses into strengths and become more effective in not only my personal environment, but also my professional environment. Some of the weaknesses that I realized have been holding me back from being as effective as I can be are the fact that I am more of a laid back person and I am not as assertive as others, I am overly cautious and critical, and also I hang on to things emotionally. I realize if I were able to change just these three things, there would be so many aspects of my life that would be different and would change also for the better. And in doing this I also realize that my future behaviors need to change in order to keep up with these new improvements. In aiding me to write this paper, there were tools that I used. The main tool was the Behavioral Survey. I was astonished as to how accurate the survey came out to be because I believed that it hit the nail on the head when it came to describing my strengths and weaknesses. It also helped me come to the conclusion as to what my behavior style is, compliance. I like to be self-contained and indirect. Another tool that came in handy was the survey profile. This gave me a more in depth and more detailed look into different behaviors, strengths, weaknesses, and ways to improve these weaknesses. The Behavioral Style summary was also very useful due to
