AD LDSP 732 FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2011 SCHOOL POLITICS STEVE KIRCHER SCHOOL BOARD OBSERVATION #1 On Wednesday, February 9 th , I attended the Monthly School Board Meeting at my school, Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay. Our school board is a little different form a public school board in that we have a Chair that is elected by other board members and holds the position for two years. The other board members are also elected from within the board. The meeting was called to order at the scheduled time of 4pm. Because we are a private, Catholic school, the call to order was followed by a prayer. Like other board meetings I’ve attended at public schools and other organizations, an Agenda was provided and the Chair followed the agenda. The previous meeting minutes were not read but approved, followed by a Key Updates report from the Finance Committee Chairperson and the Enrollment Director. I liked this part of the meeting because it identified key concerns/issues right from the start.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
