Attachments Class Name: Advanced Theory of Computation (Class ID: 4541.561) Homework #1 Student Name: Student ID: 1. Task: Implement the Baker-Bird (BB) 2D pattern matching algorithm using Aho-Corasick & Knuth-Morris- Pratt algorithm. BB should use O(|Σ|m 2 +n) 2. Constrain: A. Input: File name of ‘bb.in’, which contains the information that mхm patterns, and nхn strings in text B. Output: The positions of occurrences in row major order C. Check program: there is no limitation on the checker algorithm of time & space complexity, but should get information of input (bb.in) and output(bb.out) from implemented BB algorithm program. 3. Deliverables: A. The document of explanation of checker program: see Attachment #1 (page 4) B. Run program with your own inputs: It is done in my PC (2011-04-12) C. Written information of implementation information: see Attachment #2 (page 5) D. Comments in your program: see Attached source files (comments are in it) You may read my comments when you check the source files 4. Extra Comments: A. Copy the executable file (start.exe) onto your test directory with an input file. B. In your current directory with ‘inputfilename’ ‘outputfilename (bb.out)’, type as follow: //super_naive_checker ‘inputfilename’ ‘outputfilename (bb.out)’ or simply type inputfilename
