This would be an example due to local public literacy due to the focus being Marquette University students. Since it is local the target audience as stated before would be Marquette students and customers of the pizza shops. With local literacy you want to connect with the people on their level so the tone of the piece is very casual and laid back. Scott Walker and pizza really do not go hand in hand; but pizza deal relate to students because they want to save money and Milwaukee has a very large voting population. Since the magnet deals with politics you would think that it would be persuasive but the overall piece does not have that feel. There is a link on the magnet that if you go to it, it makes you think about Scott Walkers ideals....
