The Distributioncharacteristicanalyzedwiththemethodof finiteelement.Resultobtainedindicatesthattheradial temperature distribution of the XLPE cable do not flattened distribution. It is showed that the highest distributionradialtemperatureintheconductorshares, whilethecableinsulationneargroundedshowedlower distributiontemperatureasaccordingtogivenboundary condition. The work temperature maximum of the XLPE cable only at90 °C. Therefore the maximum currentenabledintheXLPE cableis72.5kVequivalent 640A atboundarycondition323 OK(50°C)and800A at boundarycondition305OK(32°C). INTRODUCTION Along with improvement ofaccretionofburdenwith servicequalitywhich eitherfrom facetqualityofand readycontinuityelectricsenergy,henceneededelectric power system reliability start from generating, transmission come up with distribution. The current capacities ofthetransmission linewithout destroying cableinsulationveryneedtofulfilsocietyexpectation. Duration and current magnitude which defended in looking after quality of service will very influence temperature distribution by radial and determine technical or resilience of used cable insulation. Therefore, the heat analysis at cable insulation is important.
