Outline Thesis: I would like to write about my family and how as immigrant Korean Americans, we must deal with life in the US. Also I will discuss the effect that culture differences between the US and Korea have had on my family's formation. Also by observing my family I can see how the move to the US had on my family’s relations, family roles, and the psychology P1 Intro -purpose of research -how relates to class As immigrants to America, there are different interactions between race, class, and gender ideologies that coexist to shape our way of thinking and behavior. There had to be changes made in order for this family to stay afloat and to do so my mother was forced to work. Somehow my parents were able to muster enough savings and borrow enough money in order to purchase a dry cleaner store that my mother would manage even to this day. In addition to my mother’s newly formed occupation, my father tried his hand in several occupations such as real estate agent,
