Stress and Disease • Between 75–85% of all health-related problems are either precipitated or aggravated by stress (Segerstrom and Miller, 2004). • The term “Psychoneuroimmunology” was coined in the early 80s to link the fields of psychology, neurology, and immunology, and to better understand the relationship between stress and disease.
