GEOG 373 Applied Climatology Lab. Laboratory 2: Introduction to SAGA GIS and a slope radiation exercise. (49 marks total) This laboratory has two main learning objectives: 1) Gain familiarity with entry-level operations in SAGA GIS. 2) Begin examining in detail the implications of local geometric controls on radiation receipt. Data for this exercise are posted on the Coursespaces website. There are two ZIP files and a PPT with instructions. Use SAGA and the “Elevation Layer” to perform analyses to perform these tasks and answer the following questions: 1) (5 marks) Determine the following values for the Elevation Layer.
