Review 1) What is Social Psychology? a) Social Psychology is a discipline that uses scientific methods in an attempt to  understand how human behavior and thoughts are influenced by the real or imagined  presence of others 2) Construct V Operational definition a) Psychological Construct i) Qualities or processes that cannot be directly observed or quantified (1) Intelligence b) Operational Definition i) Specific procedure or variable used to manipulate a research experiment 3) Why Might social psychology seem like common sense? a) Social psychology deals with a lot of concepts that we deal with on a daily basis, it just  looks into them more deeply than we normally would i) The Hindsight Bias contributes to social psychology seeming like common sense  because people tend to exaggerate their ability to predict occurrences when they  look back on them  4) Why Doesn’t correlation imply causation
