Caffrey Francis ENGL-0099 (T/R 12:30p.m.) 3-23-10 Essay #4 Biggest Regret Everyone has had regrets that they wish they could have taken back or done differently. I wish I could go back in time and change the way I played tennis by changing my mental attitude, the reasons why I played, and how hard I worked. I started playing tennis when I was twelve years old. I loved playing tennis because I finally found something that I was better at then my peers. When I got older and started playing tennis tournaments, I found out that there were a lot of other girls my age that were better than me. Unfortunately as time went on, that issue started getting to my head, and I started doubting myself and my ability to perform in a tennis match. My mental attitude during a match was so negative that it was very hard for me to stay positive during a point that I was losing. My negative mental attitude would make me lose that match.
