BlackboardEmergencyInstructions.doc 1 Greetings, I have reviewed my strategies to help students deal with unexpected server downtime, power outages, ISP connection problems, and other problems that may result in students missing exams, assignment submissions, or live class events. I have posted these "emergency instructions" for students to download. These instructions include important contact information such as my alternate contact email, contact information for the UNT Student Helpdesk, and procedures I would like students to follow if they cannot submit and assignment, quiz, or exam. Please do not wait until moments before a quiz or an assignment is due to submit it. If at any time you are unable to login or complete a course activity, you should contact the CITC Helpdesk ( http://www.unt.edu/helpdesk/hours.htm ). The Helpdesk will troubleshoot the problem and hopefully fix it so that you can continue. If it is not possible to fix the problem, the Helpdesk will create a help ticket and escalate the
