Reading for this course: I am aware of the unfairly high prices for introductory college textbooks. This introductory course’s exams and assignments are based on the lecture outlines, historic documents, and other required reading for the course. Buying Out of Many is recommended but not required. However, if you go without the textbook you must attend all lectures and take good notes on the lecture content.

Textbook (recommended): John Mack Faragher, Mari Jo Buhle, Daniel Czitrom, and Susan H. If you buy this book somewhere other than the campus bookstore, be sure you are getting the correct version.
