A Digital Dashboard, also known as an executive dashboard or management cockpit is "A business intelligence system that provides rapid access to timely information and direct access to management reports" (Rainer & Turban, 2009, p. 288, Glossary). They were originally made for top executives (Rainer & Turban, 2009).
