We have come up with a plan that will allow A Retail Company to avoid the previously discussed layoffs and potential store closings. There will be no stores closing, however there will be no new stores opening either. This plan will also help to combat the high costs that employees and managers alike are spending on gasoline. With this plan A Retail Company will also have the ability to lower operations costs. These changes are to be implemented as of August 1, 2010. All full-time managers and employees will no longer work five (5) eight (8)-hour days, rather they will work four (4) ten (10)-hour days. All part-time employees will work one (1), two (2), or three (3) ten (10)-hour days depending on availability. This will help reduce out of pocket expenses for gasoline because all employees and managers will have to drive to work one day...
