Social Development in Adulthood Iran Williams April 17, 2011 One is born, one lives, and then one dies. The process of life goes though different stages. According to Erickson, people proceed through eight stages of psychosocial development across their lives. He suggested that each stage requires the resolution of a crisis or conflict and may produce both positive and negative outcomes. In this life, we need to understand that we must choose the positive outcomes to enjoy the good things that life has to offer. One should note that the personality hinges on important life events. The life events range from marriage to aging parents. Upon researching this topic, it is very apparent that the article in the university did not allow much information to address the topic appropriately. It is found that it was easier to find information on the internet to explore the topic in more detail. Life is hard enough. In the different stages of life, one is faced with different struggles.
