A Onion Soup 2 cups of thin onion slices 1.7 oz butter 2 cups chicken or beef stock ½ cup water ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 4 slices toasted bread ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese 1. Sauté the onion in butter. 2. When the onion turns soft and lightly browned, add the stock, water and Worcestershire sauce. 3. Simmer it for about 25 minutes.
