1 ECON2101: Microeconomics 2 Session 1, 2011 Instructors: Paul Pezanis-Christou Guillaume Roger Tutors: Ashley Cheng Jimmy Feng Tai Lam 1 ECON2101: Microeconomics 2 Prerequisites: You must have passed Micro 1 QMA or equivalent is strongly recommended Make sure that you have access to the 2 course on Blackboard Tutorials Tutorials start in Week 2 and are scheduled at various times on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Attendance at tutorials is checked. If at the end of the semester you need 3 Special Consideration Supplementary examination It will only be granted to you if you have sufficient attendance in tutorials. Homework Homework is assigned every week and is due at the beginning of your tutorial, to your tutor. Late homework will not be accepted. 4 Homework must be handed in on a separate sheet, provide detailed answers (see example on Blackboard) You will have to hand in your first homework sheet in Week 2 Marks for homework Homework will be marked as “done” “mostly done” “not done” Solutions will be provided on Blackboard, 5 but tutors will not check homework in detail. Mid-session Exam There is one mid-term exam in Week 7 Date and location will be posted on Blackboard Material covered in weeks 1-6 Please make sure that you can attend the exam No supplementary exam will be 6 exam. No supplementary exam will be offered. Exam will consist mainly of quantitative problems. The best preparation for exams is to do your homework carefully.
