“You said you grew a plant in the dark. The plant ended up trailing over the side of the pot. Does that support your hypothesis that plants respond to the light?” The question was if I ever wondered why plants grew towards windows and with that being asked I answered it saying that it is because of the simple fact that plans, respond to light which the window is where the light is coming from so therefore the plant will grow in that direction. Now, my experiment being given is that, if I grew a plant in the dark then, the plant would end up trailing over the side of the pot which would support my hypothesis that plants respond to light. Now that I have both the question/ observation and hypothesis step down I would then do some testing. I would take two sunflower seed plants and I would plant them both at the same time and I would set one in my kitchen on my counter top near my kitchen window I would then set the other one, in my living room with all the blinds closed making it a dark room I would make sure that both the windows are opened so that the plants can breathe and the air would not be an effect to the growth of the plants. I would be sure to water both of the plants three times a day and check on them equally. With
