Andrew M. Means English 1102 9 February 2011 Plattner Part 1: One of the most controversial issues in our current society is the legalization of Gay marriages. This is a topic that many people have been debating on for years. With all the debates going on around the nation, the issue becomes even more complicated as time goes on. The two sides to this issue are simple; People who support gay marriages and people who oppose gay marriages. The people who want gay marriage laws to be passed have a simple view on this issue: Those people feel like they have the right to do whatever they would like to do. This includes two gay people getting married together. Of course, they would bring up the U.S Constitution and show that Americans should have this right through the first amendment. I do not condone or support gay marriages, but I agree with where they are coming from. On the other side of the spectrum, people who oppose gay marriages feel that gay marriages are just unnatural.
