Chapter 25 Medea now went to the ancient altars of Hecate (in order) to learn secret songs  and magical arts in the forest.  Now she was strong and her love had retreated,  but when she sees Jason, the flames of her love returned, because that day the  son of Aeson was so handsome that you could forgive Medea loving him.  She  was staring and held her eyes fixed on his face.  Jason began to speak and  grasped her right hand and promised marriage so that she would give help.  Medea said with many tears: “What am I to do?  I see that I will save him with my  help. He (Jason) Having been saved, let him give promises and keep them.  This  man swore through the sacred rights of the three-formed goddess, Hecate.  That  woman, Medea, gave magic herbs and magic songs to him and Jason went back  into his home happy. The next day the people came together into the sacred field of Mars.  The king
