Final exam After midterm 3, you will be informed about the grade you are making in the class by Tuesday April 27th 2011. You have the option of using this as your final grade and not taking the final. You may however choose to take the final, and your grade for the course will then be the grade you earn after including final exam . Please note this may be better or worse than your grade prior to the final exam. You must be present in class and inform me in writing about your decision by Thursday April 29th. Anyone who DOES NOT inform me of their choice in writing will have to take the final; in case you do not take the final you will receive a zero on your final exam and your final grade will include the final exam. If you miss a midterm exam, you must take the final exam.
