Colin Steffee 4/17/2020 Soc-220 Professor Castile Social Inequality in Drug Abuse When looking at drug abuse all society sees is that “ drugs kill people”. Well that not all there are big and small problems that come with all this. On a micro level social inequality affects the drug abuse problem. Drugs are in every neighborhood and travel quickly to teens and young adults. Micro level problem would be that social groups hang out and there is always that one person that wants to “try something new” well everyone follows and gets an individual hooked on something bad for the rest of their life. On a macro level, well there are huge Drug lords that manufacture and distribute drugs. Drugs are a problem in this world that might not ever go away.
