States of Consciousness CheckPoint Consciousness is   a person's awareness of everything that is going on around him or her at any given  moment and also has four states that affect people differently. The first is waking consciousness where we spend  most of our time and experience life on a daily basis. The second state of consciousness is being in an altered state  such as day dreaming, sleep walking, and meditation. The third state would be if you were under the influence of a  narcotic or anything that alters your thoughts and sense of reality. The fourth and final kind of consciousness would

Unformatted text preview: be doing things out of habit like driving home when you’re half asleep or intoxicated and your muscle and mind memory goes through the motions of the action that you are trying to perform out of pure habit. The human mind is a very powerful thing and has more control over your everyday life even if you are unaware of it. With that said you have to make sure that you take care of your mind and body and give it plenty of sleep so that it can perform at its best. The mind is a terrible thing to waste especially because it has so much power....
