2 Assignment: Adolescence and Adulthood While reading about the psychosocial development stages that occur threw out the life process all the way from childhood threw adulthood. Once I hit the section about adolescence I discovered that identity vs. role confusion is what takes place when you are in the adolescence phase of your life. In this phase you develop awareness of uniqueness of self knowledge of the role to be followed on the path of life, you know what is right and wrong and what the appropriate thing is to do in certain situations. The down side to being adolescence in the identity vs. role confusion is the inability to identify appropriate roles in life which means that you are more prone to give into peer pressure. Being a teenager in the adolescent phase of my life was very tricky because I moved around and ended up going to four different high schools in for years of high school. This forced
